Radar Level Meter Operating Principle
Radar level meter is suitable for liquid, slurry and granular material level of non-contact continuous measurement, suitable for temperature, pressure change; Where inert gases and volatiles are present.
The measurement method of microwave pulse is adopted, and it can work normally in the range of industrial frequency band. Low beam energy, can be installed in a variety of metal, non-metal containers or pipes, no harm to human body and the environment.

Radar Level Meter Design Features
◎ NYRD801 of level meter is suitable for continuous non-contact measurements of liquids, Slurry and pellets, pressure variation; the presence of inert gases and volatile situations
◎ Use microwave pulse measurement method, it can be worked normally within the band of frequent industry . For the lower energy beam, can be installed on a variety of metals, non-metallic container or pipe, no harm to humans and the environment.
Radar Level Meter Installation requirements
Installation description
Recommended distance(1)from wall to the outer wall of installed short pipe:
- A distance from the tank wall:1/6 of the tank diameter, min. distance is 200mm
- Not allowed to install above the material feeding silo(4)
- Not allowed to install in the central position(3),in case it is installed in the center, it will cause ma false wave echo,it interrupts wave echo and cause signal loss.
- If the distance between the gauge and wall of the tank cannot be secured, the mediums on tank wall will be adhered causing false wave echo, during the gauge debugging, the false wave echo has not be saved.
